Estelle M. Simon, 92, of Westphalia, passed away on Nov. 26, 2008 at her home.

She was born Feb. 28, 1916 in Westphalia the daughter of Joseph P. and 
Elizabeth (Bauer) Simon. Estelle was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 
Westphalia and a member of the choir for over 60 years. She retired from 
Oldsmobile after 30 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Herman, Raymond, Linus and 
Norbert. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Bertha Simon; eight nephews and three 
nieces and a special friend, Millie Droste.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. Cecilio Reyna on Nov. 29 at St. 
Mary’s Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery. 
Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.

Special thanks for Paula and Karen of Hospice Advantage for all their care and 
support.

Also special thanks to Margaret Johnson, Theresa Spitzley, Amber Sawyer and 
Barb Platte, who provided tender and loving home care.
