The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 1, 1956


Muir—Mrs. Louise Simon, 76, died Tuesday at the Hawley convalescent home 
following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s church, 
Westphalia.  The Rev. Aloysius  Miller will officiate and burial will be in St. 
Mary’s cemetery.

Survivors are a son Joseph at home, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Morris of Dewitt, 
Mrs. Eleanor Pline of Westphalia, Mrs. Oliva Mix of Dearborn and Mrs. Regina 
Schaeffer of Detroit, 15 grandchildren and six sisters.

The body will be at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pline until the funeral 
service.
