Anamae Simon, aged 87, of Ionia, passed away Aug. 24, 2014, in Lowell.  She was 
born Aug. 23, 1927, in Cadillac, Michigan, the daughter of Edwin and Nettie 
(Scott) Pease. 

Anamae married Edward Simon June 1, 1974.  He preceded her in death in 2002.  
Anamae is survived by her grandchildren, Patrick Morarity, Colin Morarity and 
Shawn Morarity.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Susan 
Morarity, and four brothers, Burt, Homer, Fred and Raymond Pease.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at LeValley Methodist 
Church with Pastor David Flagel officiating.  Interment Balcom Cemetery.  
Visitation Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.  Arrangements 
by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  Memorial contributions may be made to LeValley 
Church.
