Julius J. Simon, 68, of Hubbardston road, route 1, Pewamo, died at his home
Sunday.  He was born April 9, 1909 in Pewamo, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Simon.

Survivors include his wife, Romilda; two sons Stanley of Pewamo and Kenneth of
Westphalia; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Piper of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Rita Kolp of
Grand Blanc and Alice Simon of Lansing; two sisters Mrs. Matilda Hufnagel and
Mrs. Irene Schrauben of Fowler; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be Tuesday at 3 and 8 p.m. in St. Mary’s chapel in Westphalia with
funeral mass Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s church in Pewamo with
Monsignor Thomas Bolger officiating.  Burial is in St. Joseph’s cemetery. 
Bearers are Daniel P. Piper, Leon Hufnagel, William Hufnagel, James Schrauben,
Robert Thelen and Ron Thelen.
