Excerpts from Obituary:
Bertha E. Simon of Pewamo, died August 17, 2018-age 97
Born July 3, 1921 Westphalia, MI daughter of John and Theresia (Schmitt) Thelen.
Bertha married Norbert Simon April 10, 1945 in Westphalia Member of the St. Joseph 
Catholic Church and Altar society of Pewamo Preceded in  death of husband Norbert in 
2003 after 58 years, parents, infant daughter, four brothers, sister, sisters-in-law 
and brothers-in-laws.
Survived by three sons, eight daughters, five sisters two sisters-in-law, 44
grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Rosaries will be prayed Saturday and 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. 
Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday August 20, at St. Joseph
Catholic Church with Rev. Darrel Kempf and Rev. Charlon Mason presiding. Rite of Committal
will follow at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery, Pewamo, MI. Online condolences may be made
