Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church-Portland, Catholic Order of Forresters, American Legion and the VFW #4090 Auxiliaries. Enjoyed bingo, good game of marbles, sewing & knitting, especially mittens. Loved traveling & attending grandchildren's activities. preceded in death by parents, husband, Richard J. Simon; 5 brothers, 2 sisters, son-in-law & daughter-in-law. Survived by 8 children, 32 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 daughters, 2 brothers, several brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews special travel companion & caring neighbors. Special Thanks to McLaren Interventional Radiology & Sparrow Home Hospice. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Darrel Kempf at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 23, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday rom 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with Rosary prayed at 5:30 at Lehman Funeral Homes, Portland. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Parish or Sparrow Home Hospice.
