WESTPHALIA- Eleanor C. Simon, 69, of 213 Wet Elm Street, Westphalia, died Sunday 
in a Lansing hospital.

Born Aug. 24, 1916, she was the daughter of William and Louis Luttig Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth B. of Wacousta and Bernard W. of Westphalia; 
three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Mary Lou) Schmitt of Westphalia, Ms. Terry (Ruth) 
Eman of Haslett and Mrs. Eldred (Diane) Stump of Wacousta; 12 grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren; one brother, Paul Smith of Lansing, five sisters, 
Marian Thelen and Loreta Thelen of Westphalia; Leona Leik of Charlotte, Verena 
Rademacher of Eagle and Dorothy Lenneman of Portland.

Her husband, Florian and three brothers, Aloysius, Isidore and Celestine, 
preceded her in death. 

she was a member of Christian Mothers, the Daughters of Isabella and St. Mary's 
Church.

Rosary was Monday and Tuesday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at St. Mary's Chapel, 
Westphalia.

Funeral Mass was Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, Westphalia, with 
the Rev. James McDougall officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Neller Funeral Home, Portland.
