The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, April 1, 1968
Dora Simon, 76, lifelong resident of Westphalia, died Friday at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Gerald Pung of Lansing.  In addition to Mrs. Pung, Mrs. 
Simon is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Florentine Wieber of Lansing, 
and Mrs. Lester Miller of Fowler; four sons, Alvin, Casper, Hilairy and Joseph 
of Westphalia, 34 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Leo 
and William Cook of Pewamo; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Simon of Fowler, Mrs. 
Theresa Simon of Pewamo, Mrs. Romilda Wieber and Mrs. Elizabeth Simon of 
Westphalia.  She was a member of the Christian Mothers society.

Funeral services will be from St. Mary’s church, Westphalia, Tuesday at 10:30 
p.m.  burial will be in St. Mary’s church, cemetery.  Rosary will be said at 3 
and 8 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Geller Funeral home, Westphalia.

Transcriber’s note:  The funeral time was printed as 10:30 p.m. although one 
would assume it would be a.m.
