Lawrence Lyn Simon, age 56 of Lyons, passed away June 7, 2007 at his home. He 
was born May 20, 1951, the son of Edward and Margaret (Stanton) Simon. He was 
born and raised in the Catholic ways. Lawrence retired from GM in 2004.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Kristy Simon of Muir; children, 
Kacie Williford of Lowell, Lawrence Simon II of Muir, Lance Simon of Muir, 
Lexi and Roel Lopez of Ionia and Latoya Simon of Muir; brothers, Jerry and Pam 
Simon of Lyons, Danny and Carol Simon of Lyons and Gary Simon of Lyons; 
sister, Peggy and George Gomez of Lyons; friends, Van Kincaid and John Wilcox; 
grandchildren, Korbin Williford, Estella Simon and Kaddison Hollemans.  
Lawrence was preceded in death by both his parents.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday at Lake Funeral Home in Muir 
with Rev. John Prominski officiating. Interment Lyons Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends and relatives Sunday 2-4 and 7-8:30 P.M. at the funeral 
home.
