February 5, 1948 Minnie Sindlinger died in Ionia Monday Miss Minnie Sindlinger, 76, died Monday at the Ionia Convalescent home where she had been taken 10 days earlier following an illness of over a year. She was born in Sebewa township and lived on the same farm all her life. As a young woman she taught in various rural schools in this part of the county, and also was a saleslady in the E.C.Tew & Sons department store for several years. Surviving are two brothers, Willard at home ad Fred in Sebewa; two sisters, Mrs Lydia Watkins in Sebewa and Mrs Louise Smith in Kalamazoo, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield, Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Benson officiating, and with music by Mr and Mrs John York and Miss Geneva York. Burial was in East Sebewa Cemetery.
