Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Nov 1982

Arnold D. Sipperley, 62, of 10722 Nelson Road, Portland, died Nov. 3, in
Veterans’ Hospital, Ann Arbor.  He was born May 28, 1920, in Rodney, Mich., the
son of Jasper and Laura Rogers Sipperley.  He was employed by Central Soya,
Portland, and was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; two sons, Kendal of Ionia and Charles of
Portland, two daughters, Mrs. Laura Sauer of Marshall and Mrs. Margaret Putney
of Belding; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home, with
Rev. Paul Gates of Grand Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating.  Burial
will be in Danby Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Roger Habegger, Carl Simmons,
Robert Spurgeon, Douglas Lake, Thomas Dies, and Tony Kolarik.
