The body will arrive in Ionia Tuesday at 4:50 p.m. and interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Surviving are a sister, Miss Louise Curry, and a brother, John Curry. Mrs. Sire was a retired actress and the widow of Leander Sire, a New York theatrical producer. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Curry of Ionia whose home was on North Union street. Mrs. Sire died Friday night at All Soul’s hospital in Morristown after an illness of several weeks. As Rose Curry, she was Chauncey Olcott’s leading lady early in the century. She toured the country as a Shakespearean actress and in other roles. One of her last parts was with William Brady’s company of “Bought and Paid For” at the New York Playhouse.
