Ionia Sentinel Standard - July 18, 2011


Carol Jean Sisung, 46, of Ionia, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011. She was 
born on Dec. 6, 1964 in Trenton, the daughter of Mary Jean Mikulka and Charles 
F. Sisung, Sr.

Carol enjoyed flower gardening, she had a great love for flowers. She loved 
cooking and was very good at it. She loved Renaissance festivals and attended 
several in Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. Carol conducted a motorcycle run 
benefit every year with all proceeds benifiting local animal shelters.

Surviving are her son, Justin L. Sisung; parents, MaryJean (Stasa) Mikulka and 
Charles (Cheri) Sisung Sr.; brothers Charles (Wendy) Sisung Jr. and David J. 
Sisung; and six nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 
the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. The family will receive 
friends 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial 
contributions may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at
