Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Zmuda Sitarz, 69, who died unexpectedly Saturday 
morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Roche, 
818 Forest street, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Myers funeral 
home.

The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of First Christian church will officiate and 
interment will be at Palo cemetery.

Mrs. Sitarz was born August 2, 1892 in Karkow, Poland, the daughter of Mr. and 
MRs. John Baldys, and came to United States in 1907. She was married in 1909 to 
Frank Zmuda who died in 1937.

In 1938 she was married in Chicago to Joseph Sitarz and following his death in 
1950 came to Ionia to reside with her daughter.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clara Roche of Ionia; and Mrs. Helen 
Young of Lansing; seven grandchildren; two great grandsons; one stepdaughter, 
Mrs.Kazie Trusci and two stepsons, Joseph and Ted Sitarz of Chicago

A son, Charles Zmuda, died in 1959.
