Dorothy Sitzer, aged 79, of Saranac, passed away October 8, 2004 in Lowell.  
She was born February 25, 1925 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Gladys Pew.  She 
married Keith Sitzer in 1943 in South Bend, Indiana, who preceded her in death 
in 1994.

She was a cook and supervisor for Saranac Public Schools for many years.  

Dorothy is survived by her sons Dennis and Dawn Sitzer of Saranac, Terry and 
Susan Sitzer of Indianapolis; brother Edward and Joyce Bosler of Mishawaka, 
Indiana; sister Shirley and Don Dorr of Mishawaka, Indiana; grandchildren Tim 
and Lisa Sitzer of Lowell, Angela Sitzer of Saranac, Brandon Sitzer of 
Indianapolis; great-grandchildren Brooke, Megan, and Alec.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac 
with Rev. James Frank officiating.  Interment Saranac Cemetery.  The family 
will receive friends and relatives Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral 
home.
