The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 2, 1932
George Sitzer, living on the George Shaw farm north of Muir, died Thursday and 
the funeral services held in Blanchard Saturday.  Mr. Sitzer was born in 
Canada 53 years ago.  he moved on the Shaw place one year ago from a farm 
north of Ionia.  He leaves his widow and four children, two sons and two 
daughters, three of whom were at home.
