Died At Grand Rapids

The death of Arza Dennis Skellenger aged 76 years, occurred at his home in Grand
Rapids, on Saturday afternoon, following an illness of some time.  Mr.
Skellenger had been a resident of Grand Rapids for many years, but spent his
early days in this city and community.  Surviving are the widow, Margaret, a
daughter, Mrs. William Rogers, of Putnam, Conn.; two brothers, Dan Skellenger,
of Lake Odessa and Tom Skellenger, of McBrides; a sister, Mrs. William Wright,
living east of the city and a grandson, Landon Rogers, of Manistee.  Funeral
services were held on Tuesday afternoon, at 1:30, at Grand Rapids and burial
services in charge of the Grattan Masonic Lodge, No. 196, were held in Otisco
cemetery, west of the city, where the body was interred.  Mr. Skellenger has
many friends in this city and vicinity who will regret to learn of his passing.
