Former Local Lady Buried in Otisco

Mrs. Margaret Skellenger, 87, of Grand Rapids, died at a convalescent home in
that city on Wednesday of last week.  She had been ill about a month and was
treated at Blodgett hospital before she was taken to the convalescent home.

Mrs. Skellenger, formerly Mrs. Margaret Snyder, lived at Cooks Corners for many
years and was well known in this area.  She is survived by one daughter (Byrl),
Mrs. Will Rogers of Grand Rapids, one grandson, Landon Rogers, and two
great-grandchildren of Flagstaff, Arizona.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Greenhoe funeral home in Grand Rapids and
burial was in Otisco cemetery.

Mrs. Fred Rogers of this city was in Grand Rapids Thursday and Friday to be with
Mr. and Mrs. Will Rogers.  Neither are very well.
