MARY E. SKINNER
PORTLAND-Mary E. Skinner, 95, of Freeport, Ill., formerly of Portland, died 
Sept. 18.

She was born in North Eagle, Mich., on Nov. 11, 1896, the daughter of Peter and 
Nettie Smith Miller.

She was a life member of Portland United Methodist Church and life member and 
past worthy matron of the Portland chapter No.358, Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs.Charles "Chris" (Audrie) Christensen of 
Freeport, Ill.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in d ath by her husband, a son, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday (today) at 2 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman 
Co. Neller Chapel, with the Rev. Elaine Buker of the Portland Untied Methodist 
Church officiating.

The Portland chapter will officiate with Eastern Star services.

Burial will be in Danby Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Kevin Christensen, Cory Christensen, Kenneth towner, 
Robert Smith, Ronald Nelson and William Dutcher.

The family will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. today.
