Skinner, 19, of Hastings, formerly of the Hubbardston area, died early Saturday in Hastings as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Carson City on September 5, 1963, the son of William and Mary (Stoddard) Skinner. He lived in the Hubbardston-Pewamo area, attending St. Joseph’s School in Pewamo. He moved to Hastings in 1973, attending St. Rose Catholic School, graduating from Hastings High School in 1981. He was presently employed as a driver-salesman for Rex Sales, Inc. of Hastings. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Roger Caris of Hastings, three brothers, William of Texas, Paul of Maryland and Roger of Hastings, two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Sue) McKeough Jr. and Miss Teresa Skinner, both of Hastings, paternal grandmother, Mrs. William Skinner of Hubbardston and step- grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Karis of Middleton. He was preceded in death by his father, William, in 1963. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Hastings. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Hubbardston. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Wren Funeral Home, Hastings.
