David T. Skutt, 30, of 520 Merrick St., Belding, died unexpectedly at his home 
on Sunday, April 25, 2004.  He was born July 18, 1973 in Flint, the son of 
Terry C. and Ester M. Marchese Skutt.

He married Joy L. Smith on June 15, 2002, in Greenville.  David was a resident 
of the Belding area since his marriage to Joy and he was a person who loved the 
outdoors, especially hunting and the water, including boating and skiing.

He is survived by his parents, Terry and Ester Skutt of Holt; brother and his 
wife, Timothy and Kim Skutt of East Lansing; wife, Joy L. Skutt; stepchildren, 
Tara Curtis, Brandon Curtis, Kendra Curtis, Trevor Curtis; and father-in-law 
and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Doris Smith of Greenville.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Simpson Family Funeral Home, 
Sheridan, with Pastor Scott Linder officiating.  Interment is in Evergreen 
Cemetery, Sheridan.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
