     FRANK EDWARD SLAGEL

Died Thursday January 13, 2025-age 80 at home in Ionia,MI.
Born June 11, 1944 son of Edward and Lona (Sherman) Slagel in Grand Rapids,MI.
Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1962-2004.
Retired from the State of Michigan as a Correction Officer.
Frank enjoyed golf, bowling, time with family, & dedication to his VFW Post.
survived by his children, Tamerah (Greg) Metzger, Jimmy (Vicky)Slagel, Edward 
Slagel, Amber (Thomas) Hengstebeck, Robert(Samantha)Slagel; sister Roberta 
Wilcox, many grandchildren & Great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers John & Fred Slagel.
Funeral services are Monday, January 13, 2024, 11:00 am at Lake fUneral Home in 
Ionia with Pastor Michael Partain officiating.
Visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at  Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek,MI.
