Ionia Daily Sentinel, 1 Apr 1892

Sunday seems to have been a sad day in many homes.  Harvey Slanker, well and 
favorably known in Palo, died in Belding Sunday of la grippe and heart trouble.  
Harvey was a young man of marked ability, and we regret much his early demise.  
His wife is now left alone, and will feel most keenly her very great loss.
