Lake Odessa Man Fatally Hurt By Falling Tree Limb

Local Quintet Will Meet Lake Odessa At Armory

Skull fractures sustained when he was struck by the limb of a tree which he was 
cutting down on his farm wood lot near Lake Odessa, proved fatal to George 
Slater, 43, who died Saturday morning in the Pennock hospital at Hastings.

The accident occurred last Wednesday.  Slater was found unconscious by members 
of his family who went in search of him when his long absence from the house 
alarmed them.

Blood stains on a large limb of the tree near the injured man were discovered.
