                              FRANK A. SLAYTON

Funeral services for Frank Austin Slayton, 76, of 545 W.May Street were held at 
the Charles M.Courser Funeral Services Saturday, December 26. Rev. Chester 
Ranase officiated at the services. Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Slayton was born May 30, 1894 in Grattan township. He was the son of Mr and 
Mrs.Austin Slayton. He was married to Gladys Sparks October 19, 1919 in Grand 
Rapids. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving besides his wife are one daughter of Comstock Park; three sons, 
Carroll of Eaton Rapids, Maurice of Grand Rapids and Ray of rural Belding; one 
brother, Ray W.Slayton of Belding; twelve grandchildren.
