MRS.HAZEL L. SLOCUM

LAKE ODESSA-Mrs.Hazel L. Slocum, 82, died Tuesday November 21, at Pennock 
Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.

She was born September 24, 1896 at Marshall where she also attended school. She 
married Jack Slocum who preceded her in death in 1967.

Mrs.Slocum lived 25 years in Lansing before moving to the Lake Odessa area.She 
was a member of the Calvary United Brethren church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Slocum, Lansing, Donald Slocum, Lansing; 
James Slocum, Belding; one daughter, Mrs.Rex (Virginia) Gillette; ten 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel. 
Burial will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
