          Nola "Dimples" Jean Slocum

Died January 16, 2023-age 80 from Breast Cancer.
Born February 10, 1942 daughter of Robert & Isabell (St.Clair) Gurnee.
Married to James Slocum for 57 years, 1st married Aug.4, 1961, divorced Feb. 
1977, remarried March 20, 1982.
She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, kayaking, playing horse shoes, 
shopping, music and playing cards. 
Her favorite card games were cribbage, euchre, and crazy eights.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Isabell Gurnee, siblings Judy Kester 
and Ronnie Gurnie.
Surviving are siblings,Robert "Butch" Guree Jr., Carolyn Lindsey & Doug (Diane) 
Gurnee, her husband James Slocum, daughters Cheryl Morgan, Rhonda (Chuck) 
Bannerman,& Marci (Donnie) Walters & son Jerry (Miriam) Slocum.
She had 12 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.
She would always say "Love you more!"
