The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 11, 1969


Mrs. Lucile E. Slocum, 85, of Hubbardston, died Monday evening at Carson City 
hospital.  She was born in the Palo area December 18, 1883 and married in 1901 
to Henry Slocum.

Surviving are two sons, Virgil and Henry of Hubbardston; three grandchildren, 
11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Estep funeral home north of 
Muir.  Rev. A. Regeir of Methodist church of Hubbardston will officiate.  
Interment will be at Westside cemetery at Hubbardston.
