Ionia Standard, 2 Jul 1909

The remains of Mrs. R. Sloman, accompanied by the son and wife and Walter 
Yeomans, were taken to Detroit Fri. morning, where services will be held and 
interment take place.  Mrs. Sloman had been a resident of Ionia 42 years, her 
husband dying here 36 years ago.  She was a woman of quiet habits, and highly 
esteemed by those who knew her best.  Mr. Yeomans is executor of her will, the 
property consisting mainly of the house and lot on West Main street, where she 
lived nearly the entire period of her residence here, and the furnishings and 
other personal belongings contained therein.
