Slosser, 68, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, at United Memorial Health Center, Greenville. She was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Saranac, the daughter of Leo and Hazel Trumpower Tucker. Leora graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1952. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Ionia County Genealogical Society. She married Allen Slosser on Aug. 6, 1964, in Belding. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, William Blount and Lee Blount. She is survived by her husband, Allen; children, Mike and Sandy Blount, Gary and Wendi Slosser, all of Belding, David and Karen Slosser of New Market, Md., Julie and Brad Rick of Belmont; 12 grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, James and Pam Tucker of Roscommon, Thomas and Swetlana Tucker of Wurzburg, Germany; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Powers. Funeral and committal services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastors Byron Davey and Ken Harger officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at Maccabee Hall, Smyrna. Interment will be in Otisco Township Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ionia County Genealogical Society or the Alvah N. Belding Library.
