Born in Greenville to John & Leslie Slosser. Graduated from Belding High School in Class of 1949 & was a lifelong resident of Belding. Allen was well known in the community through coaching Little League Baseball, bowling, square Dancing, being a lifetime Belding Redskin Fan, his 70 years as a Mason at the Belding Masonic Lodge & his gift for conversations with everyone he met. He worked 39 years at Extruded Metals/Aluminum while also farming 60 acres- raising pigs, corn & wheat. He served in the 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War & continued to serve for over 30 years in the Army Reserves, retiring as a Master Sergeant with many awards & decorations. Preceded min death by his parents, John & Leslie Slosser; his wives Irene (Foss) Slosser & Leora (Tucker) Slosser, step-son, Lee Blount; sister, Margaret Powers, half sister, Mildred Moore; & half-brothers Melvin & Stanley Slosser. Surviving are his children; David(Karen)Slosser, Julie(Brad)Rick, Gary(Laurie Marcy)Slosser & Mike(Sandy)Blount; 12 grandchildren & 20 great-grand children. He loved bargaining for anything, playing cards-especially Euchre & Cribbage. Funeral Services will take place at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00a.m.,with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life is planned for this summer TBA.
