Editor Slosson Dead.

Chas. W. Slosson, editor of the Lake Odessa Wave, died at his home there at 4
o’clock Wednesday morning, of pneumonia after an eleven days’ illness.  He
leaves a widow and baby boy in comfortable circumstances.  Mr. Slosson was one
of the prominent business men of the town, and also prominent in county
politics, being a staunch Democrat.  Before coming to Lake Odessa he was
postmaster at the village of Kalamo, where his parents reside.  The funeral will
be held at 10 o’clock Sunday morning under the auspices of the Odd Fellows.  Mr.
Slosson was a man of integrity and made a great improvement in the Wave after
taking charge of it.  The Banner extends its sympathy.
