Prayer services for Daniel Slowinski, 77, Lake Odessa farmer, who died at 
Pennock hospital in Hastings last Thursday afternoon were conducted at the 
home Monday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a solemn high mass at SS. Peter and Paul 
church at 9:00 a.m.  The mass was sung by the Rev. Fr. Donald Farrell of Lake 
Odessa, assisted by the Rev. Fr. John S. Fons and the Rev. Fr. John Tamulis.

Bearers were Donald, Herbert, Eugene, Frank, John, Clarence and Wilson 
Slowinski, all sons of the deceased, and Harold Slowinski, a nephew.  Flowers 
were in charge of Annie, Mary and Marie O’Mara.  Interment was in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Slowinski, Mr. and 
Mrs. Earl Slowinski and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slowinski, Mr. and Mrs. 
Louis Maitner, Miss Ann Slowinski, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Slowinski, Mr. and 
Mrs. Roy Slowinski, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Funk, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Haslem, 
Mrs. Marcella McGinnis, Mrs. Mary Schneider and Mrs. Minnie Gillis of Grand 
Rapids, Leo Slowinski of St. Johns, and Miss Jewel Hearld and Miss Clara Roman 
of Jackson.
