Ionia Daily Sentinel, 6 Dec 1900

Christopher Slowinski of Berlin township, of recent months a sufferer from a 
complication of ailments, died on Wednesday, and will be buried from the Church 
of SS. Peter & Paul, this city, on Friday morning at 10 o’clock.  Mr. Slowinski 
was an industrious and always honest man in the community, and it is altogether 
possible his ailments were brought on by an overtax of his physical strength; 
he was a constant and hard worker.  He was aged 64 years.
