Ionia Sentinel - 1 August 1967
Funeral services for Edward E. Slowinski were Monday morning at 10 O'clock at 
SS Peter and Paul Church.  Fr. Bernard Korson officiated and burial was in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.  Bearers were John Sarlouis, James Schnable, Andrew Risser, 
Clyde Cooper, Jr., Wilson Slowinski and Ernest Andres.

The American flag was folded by Earl Wentworth and Carl Seabrook, and presented 
to the family by Wentworth.  Relatives and friends attending the funeral from 
out of town include Mr and Mrs Arthur Slowinski of Port Huron; Mrs. Gertrude 
Maitner, Mr and Mrs Harry Oosdyke, Mr and Mrs Douglas Wertach, Sr., Douglas 
Wertach, Jr., Eugene and Florence Slowinski and Mrs. Frances Gazella all of 
Grand Rapids.  George Slowinski, Jr. of Michigan City, Ind.; Mr and Mrs 
Lawrence Slowinski, Mrs. Jospeh Witucki, Kerrie, Michael, Kathy, Becky and Amy, 
all of Grandville; Mr and Mrs. James Cloyd of Champaign, Ill,; Mrs. Richard 
Kluk, Michelle, Karen and Lisa, of Dearborn.

Mr. and Mrs Frank Currie, Kathy, Susan, and David of Euclid, Ill.; Mr and Mrs 
John Slowinski and Mrs. Frank Slowinski of Jackson; Mr and Mrs. George 
Slowinski, Mrs Dale Dennis and Mr and Mrs Donald Slowins, all of Portland; Mr 
and Mrs. Joseph Majinska, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Sarlouis and Linda, Mrs Frank 
O'Mara, Thomas O'Mara and Misses Anna and Mary O'Mara all of Lake Odessa.
