R. Hugh (Huck) Slowinski, 41, of Ennis Mont., died suddenly late Monday evening 
from complications of accidental injuries suffered earlier.  He was born in 
Ionia on March 16, 1942, the son of Roman and Loretta Andres Slowinski.

He attended SS Peter and Paul school and graduated in 1960.  He attended 
Oakland University in Rochester and graduated in 1965.  He moved west following 
his graduation and made his home in Colorado.  For the past nine years he has 
lived in Montana where he was a rural mail carrier.  He was also a partner in a 
cable television company.

Surviving are his mother and father: Roman and Loretta Slowinski; one daughter: 
Rachel; one sister: Mrs. Richard Ransom of Ionia.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the SS peter and Paul 
Church with the Rev. Father Henry Dondzila officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. 
Olivet cemetery.  A scriptural rosary will be read on Sunday at 8 p.m. from the 
Leddick Funeral Home.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 
p.m.  A memorial has been established for the SS Peter and Paul School.  
Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
