Slowinski died suddenly about noon, Sunday, October 25, in Blodgett Hospital, Grand Rapids. The son of the late Frank and Lena Slowinski, he was born November 3, 1903, in Ionia county. He had lived until next Tuesday, he would have reached his fiftieth birthday anniversary. Mr. Slowinski was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church attended SS. Peter and Paul Academy, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and of the Ionia Hunting and Fishing Club. For the past thirty years he had been employed at the factory, now the Ionia Manufacturing Company. Surviving are three sisters; Mrs. Mary Helen White, with whom he resided; Ann R. Slowinski, of Detroit; and Mrs. Gale R. Davidson of Northville; a brother, Herbert F. Slowinski, Detroit, and two nephews, Bruce and David White of Ionia. Rosary was recited at Myers Funeral Home, Tuesday evening and funeral service was from SS. Peter and Paul Church, Wednesday morning. Burial was in the family lot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
