                           ALICE C. SLOWINSKI

IONIA - Alice C. Slowinski, 71, of East Washington Street, died Sunday morning 
at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 11, 1909, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Geller George, 
and attended school in Pewamo, graduating in 1926.

She married Fred Slowinski in April, 1937 in Pewamo, and had made her home in 
Ionia ever since.

Mrs. Slowinski was a member of the SS.Peter & Paul Church.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; two sons, Alan of Bay City and Mort of 
Ionia; three grandchildren; two brothers,Joseph George of Pewamo and Roy George 
of Fowler; and two sisters, Mrs.Kate Frechen of Long Lake and Mrs.Stanley (Joan) 
Smith of St.Johns.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the SS.Peter and Paul Church, with 
the Rev. Henry Dondzila officiating.

Burial will be in Mt.Olivet Cemetery.

Scriptural wake services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Leddick Funeral 
Home.

Friends and relatives may visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

A memorial fund has been established. Contributions may be left at the funeral 
home.
