Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1946

Edward R. Slowinski,  62, died at his home, 422 East Washington street, Monday 
evening about 11:45 o'clock.

He was born in Berlin township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Slowinski. He had 
been ill about seven months. He worked as city foreman of Ionia for 15 years. His 
wife preceded him in death in 1938. He is a member of the SS. Peter and Paul church.

Knights of Columbus and Holy Name society.

He is survived by a son Fred; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Horrocks, and Marjorie 
Slowiski at home; one sister, Mrs. Charles Shafer, and a brother, Robert, and two 
grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church. Rosary

and Holy Name society will meet Thursday evening at 8 p.m. at his home.
