The Ionia Standard, Friday, January 13, 1905
Miss Emma Slowinski of Berlin died in Grand Rapids January 7.  The remains 
were brought to Ionia Monday, where the funeral took place from the Catholic 
church.  She was nineteen years old and well and favorably known here.

Miss Emma Slowinski, daughter of the late Christopher Slowinski, died at the 
home of her brother, Theo. Slowinski, 149 S. Jefferson St., Grand Rapids, Jan. 
7.  Funeral Jan. 9 at Ionia, Rev. Fr. W. J. Fierle officiating.  Interment in 
Catholic cemetery.  There was a large attendance of friends from Berlin and 
this city, who deeply sympathize with the relatives in their affliction.
