Mrs. Slowinski was born in Germany 77 years ago, coming to this country before her marriage to the late Michael Slowinski. She and her husband resided on the farm until he died ten years ago after which she continued there with her nephew, Leo Fialkofski, as manager of the farm. Rev. Fr. Joseph Maier, pastor of SS Peter and Paul’s church, read the mass, Rev. Fr. M. M. Walker was deacon and Rev. Fr. H. D. McCarthy, sub-deacon. The Rosary society, of which she was a member, attended the funeral services in a body, meeting at the church. Mrs. Slowinski is survived by four children, Thomas, residing near the old home; a daughter, Anna, who is Sister Phelata, of Dansville, Pa., a member of the Order of the Sister s of Christian Charity.
