Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. May 2, 2001

Charles W. Smejkal, 78, of Middleville, formerly of Ionia, passed away Tuesday, 
May 1, 2001, at Thornapple Manor in Hastings.

He is survived by three daughters, Peg (Darryl) Corp of Laingsburg, Yvonne 
(Jerry) Meyers of Ionia, and Toni (Floyd) Bray of Middleville; two sons, 
Charles W. Smejkal Jr., of Mason, and Steve Smejkal of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 
grandchildren. 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Ella Smejkal and a grandson, Neil Smejkal.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. 
Arrangements by the Beeler Funeral Home, Middleville.
