Hasting's Reminder - Sat. September 11, 2021

HOWARD D.SMELKER

BOCO RATON, FL - Howard D. Smelker, age 87 passed away September 2, 2021 at Boca 
Raton Hospice.

He was born in Ionia County, Freeport, MI on February 11, 1934 to Keith and Neva 
(Price) Smelker. Howard graduated from Lake Odessa High School, Lake Odessa, MI 
and served two years int eh Navy from 1956 to 1958.

Surviving are three sisters, Shirley (George) Miner, Linda (James) Allen and 
Brenda (Donald) Williams-Many nieces, nephews, cousins and two aunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers-in-law and a nephew.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, Sept 8, at Our Lady Queen of Peace 
Cemetery located in Royal Palm Beach, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice, local hospice and 
local veteran associations.

Arrangements by Babione Funeral Home, Boca Raton, Florida.
