Funeral services for Arnold M. Smith, 74, will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. 
Patrick Catholic church in Portland with Fr. Stephen Kolenic officiating.  
Burial will be in St. Marys cemetery, Westphalia.

Mr. Smith of 1000 Looking-glass avenue, Portland died Tuesday at Blodgett 
Memorial hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic church in Portland and St. Joseph 
society of Westphalia.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Sadler of Portland, Mrs. Mary 
Curtis of Lowell and Matilda Smith of Portland.

Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland.
