Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Aug 1940

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Myers 
funeral home for Henry E. Smith, 63 years old former Ionian, who died Monday at 
his home in Kalamazoo.  Rev. Paul Stewart officiated and interment was held at 
Highland Park cemetery.  Bearers were Edward Bensinger, William Bensinger, 
Anthony Burke and Fred Piper.
