Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 30 Mar 1951

Mrs. Minnie Smith, 88, a resident of Ionia township all her life, died at 11:45 
a.m. Friday at the Eckert Convalescent Home.  She had been ill for a long time.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Davenport of Goodrich and Mrs. Reta 
Dunn of St. Johns; twelve grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Blanch of 
Lansing.

The body reposes at Myers funeral home.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
later.

[Transcriber’s Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she is 
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
