Ionia County News, 20 Oct 1955

Funeral services for Garner Smith were conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the 
Myers Funeral Home in Ionia.  The Rev. Lewis Herrick officiated.  The bearers 
were six nephews of Mr. Smith: Robert Livingston, Rex Livingston and Jay 
Converse, Flint; Cecil Brockway, Swartz Creek; Elvin Smith, Eaton Rapids; and 
Milton Smith, Jr., Orleans.  Burial was in Palo cemetery.
