Masonic Lodge Has Charge Of Funeral Of William S. Smith. Funeral services were held for William S. Smith, 67, on Tuesday afternoon at the Muir Presbyterian church. Mr. Smith died in Boston, Mass., Saturday morning. Services were in charge of Myron Lepper, of Saginaw, Christian Science practitioner. Mrs. Fred Howard, of Ionia provided the music. Burial rites were in charge of Lyons lodge No. 37 F. & A. M., of which Mr. Smith was a member. Deceased was born in Webster, N. Y., and came to Michigan 37 years ago. He owned one of the largest fruit farms in this section of the state. Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Viola Mutch, at home, and Mrs. Florence Pierce, of Lansing; two sons, Owen, of Lyons and Gilbert, at home.
