The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Tuesday, April 29, 1919

Ira Albert Smith, aged 66, died at his home in Orange township Monday at 
4:30.  The funeral will take place in Saranac on Thursday, at 1:30 at the 
home, and at two o’clock at the Brick church.  Rev. Lahr will officiate, and 
the interment will be in Highland Park.  Mr. Smith left to survive him, his 
wife, and four children, Leo J., Bernard, Reta and Dorothy.  Several brothers 
also survive.  Friends are requested to kindly omit flowers.
