Mable E. Smith, 82, of Portland, passed away on Dec. 10, 2006.  She was a member
of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland and the Resurrection Life Choir.  She
loved knitting and crocheting.

Mable is preceded in death by her husband Elgin and daughter Elaine Miller.  She
is survived by her children Ken (Marie) Smith, Steve (Debbie) Smith, Doug
(Connie) Smith, Kathy (Tom) Russman, Annette (John) Pohl, and Darrel Smith;
son-in-law Jim Miller; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Phil
Koelzer; sisters-in-law Mary Lou Smith, Susan Smith, and Dorothy Goodman;
brother-in-law Bill Simon; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 14, at St. Patrick Catholic Church,
Portland with Rev. Larry King presiding.  Rite of Committal followed at Portland
Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home,
Portland.  Memorial contributions may be made to either the Fr. Flohe
foundation, or Hospice Advantage.
